City Council Budget Simulation
City Council Budget Simulation is an interactive civics activity in which students act as city council members responsible for allocating a limited federal grant among competing community needs. Students evaluate project proposals, prioritize spending, and defend their decisions during a mock council meeting, developing critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world budgeting skills.
Crisis at Sea
Students participate in a high-stakes simulation where they act as National Security Council advisors responding to an international hostage crisis. Teams analyze military, diplomatic, and economic options before making and defending a recommendation to the President.
